Harrison Fisher . . . Leisure Moments

Demurest of the tabby kind,
The pensive Selina, reclined,
Gazed on the lake below.
Her conscious tail her joy declared:
The fair round face, the snowy beard,
The velvet of her paws
Her coat, that with the tortoise vies,
Her ears of jet, and emerald eyes-
She saw, and purr'd applause.
~Thomas Gray~

Tabbies are a work of art

Welcome to my kitty section.

I love cats, they are such gorgeous creatures. Their personalities are as different as the markings on their coats. As a child I wasn't allowed to have a pet (except for a goldfish) but my grandmother always had a house full of cats, so I grew up loving them. Once I moved out on my own, one of the first things I did was go to the animal shelter and adopt a cat. I've had quite a few cats and assorted other pets over the years and they all bring back such sweet memories. I hope you enjoy the following pages.

My first page is dedicated to Simon. He passed over the rainbow bridge in 2000, but he is always close to my heart. If you have ever lost a beloved pet please read "Buffy My Love" by Philip Dattilo, it will touch your heart and soul.

My two current purrfect felines are named Romeo & Juliet!

I also included a page dedicated to all of the other pets that I have had, as well as a kitty poetry section. And, even though you can never have enough cats, there is an over population problem, so please spay or neuter your pet!
